I’ve been trying to integrate the dogs more with my ancient cats.

Handsome is meek and deferent about it, while Tinkerbell gets kind of jealous and intense. Her prey drive is a bit higher, so she’d be better suited to a cat-free home.

They are both so, so wonderful. I can keep either of them (as Tink’s prey drive could be manageable with training), and if they both found homes I could keep neither of them, but I’m not capable of taking care of them both.

Alright guys. Here’s the deal. I never (and I mean NEVER) reblog stuff like this because I am the Rick Blaine of Tumblr. But I’m making an exception because, like Rick, I am at heart, a rank sentimentalist.

I know these dogs personally, and they are magnificent beasts. They are affectionate, energetic, and still young enough to be trained/adapt easily to new situations. Christina is one of the few animal lovers I know who has put her money where her mouth is and given these dogs a foster home. But she’s in school, she works two jobs, and her apartment is not nearly big enough to accommodate both of these puppies. She’s been actively looking for homes for one or both for over a year now. If you or anyone you know lives in SoCal and is looking for a lovely creature to take in, please shoot Christina an email. It’ll be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
